Simrad NSX Series MFD Chartplotter Now Available

After being announced in February 2022, Simrad Yachting's newest multifunction display (MFD) series, the Simrad® NSX series, is now available in the United States. This chart plotter and fish finder offers a simple, intuitive interface and crystal clear views. The clean and simple interface makes this modern MFD chart plotter even easier to use all the features that are packed into this one small but powerful device. The vibrant SolarMAX™ HD IPS touch screen provides crystal clear views of chart detail, structure and bottom contours.

The NSX series features powerful navigation capability with C-MAP® support, integrated Sonar, full Radar and Autopilot systems compatibility and Simrad's handy Setup Wizard tool. The interface is fully editable and customizable by owners with smart drag-and-drop screen customization options and a fully-editable instruments bar.

Stunning Resolution With Day And Night Modes

Enhanced, vibrant day and night modes allow captains to navigate clearly in all weather and lighting conditions. C-MAP® DISCOVERTM X and REVEALTM X marine-optimised charts feature a fresh, intuitive chart presentation along with all of the latest updates. C-MAP® charts include full-featured vector charts with custom depth shading and high resolution bathymetry that gives users accurate contour lines down to a 1-foot level of detail.

Captains can improve planning and route plotting with Tides and Currents projections and Simrad's fastest ever Autorouting tool. This tool automatically determines the best route to reach a destination. Plus, there’s a new Map Inspection feature with one-touch access to information on locations, POIs, tides, channels and more.

Hazard Identification

Boaters will find it easy to identify hazards with HALO® pulse compression radars, stay on course with Autopilot systems and experience a range of integrated Sonar. High-resolution images 300 feet below and 300 feet to the sides of the vessel with Active ImagingTM 3-in-1 are supported, and all the sonar - CHIRP, DownScan ImagingTM and SideScan - are available from a single transducer.

Advanced Fish Finding Capabilities

FishRevealTM Smart Target View provides even easier target identification with clearly defined fish arches. You can even search greater depths with a wide range of compatible 1kW transducers. Highlight targets in specific environments using custom modes such as bird, offshore, weather and harbor.
