This week Boston Whaler announced the release of the all-new 2021, 240 Vantage. As the newest member of its award-winning Vantage series, this sporty dual console looks well-suited to a wide range of activities, including fishing, cruising, beaching, water sports, entertaining and more. Whaler has given the boat a family-friendly layout featuring an optional cockpit prep center, convertible portside lounge seating, redesigned bow (available with both windlass and a boarding ladder) and portside console. An enclosed head and sink come standard on the 240, making long outings much more comfortable for all those onboard.

Whaler says the 240 Vantage is a true ā€œdo-it-allā€ boat designed to deliver versatility and comfort while being easy to operate and requiring minimal maintenance. These features promise to make the boat a great choice for both novice boaters looking for a well-equipped starter boat to get out on the water as well as more experienced boating families looking for a spacious dual console for entertaining.

The boat's sleek new flared hull provides a safe, stable ride and a sharper bow profile helps her cut through chop. "Conversation-friendly seating" is featured throughout the boat including plush bow lounge seats and a convenient foldaway aft seat. The portside lounge seating converts to multiple positions including facing forward, facing aft, or even laid flat allowing it to serve as the perfect napping spot. An optional integrated hardtop can provide additional weather protection.

As with other models, the 240 Vantage features Whalerā€™s proprietary foam-injected hull that is precision-engineered to deliver stability, superior seakeeping ability and softness while underway. Propulsion on this new vessel comes by way of a V8 Mercury Verado engine and the boatā€™s deep freeboard provides a sense of safety and security for all passengers.

An array of features make the 240 Vantage a highly capable fishing boat, as well. From convenient rod storage accessible via the bow, to a large centerline insulated fishbox to keep catches fresh (and an optional aft livewell on the transom) this boat makes it easy to have the bait at your fingertips and rods in the water at a moment's notice. Additional enclosed rod storage in the console is easily accessed through the bow.
