The Rasmus 35 was designed by the leading Swedish designer of elegant yachts of the 1960s, Olle Enderlein. 760 boats were made between 1967 and 1978.The name "Rasmus" is German and means God of Winds. The design of the Rasmus 35 was in many ways ahead of its time. It was the first sailing yacht in the world with a windscreen. This boat features a hard Bimini which gives a ?Pilot House? feel! The centre cockpit is very well protected.
Here is an opportunity to own well built, strong bluewater cruiser at an affordable price. Even today, its balance of classic and innovative design turns heads. This is a go-anywhere boat. The shallow draft means you can tuck into the most protected Chesapeake Bay harbors or round the globe as many Rasmus owners have done.
Per a recent partial survey, the new owner will have the option to engage in any or all of several projects to customize the boat for the type of sailing they will want to do. A marine survey is always recommended to help prioritize projects. At this price “Juniata” is priced to sell “as is!”
