Outboard Power Options

The outboard version of the 380 SSC is offered with four power options, including either triple Mercury 350 or 400 Verado engines, or for those high-performance nuts, Mercury Racing 400R or 450R outboards. Yes, that's a lot of horsepower hanging off the stern of a 38-foot family-friendly boat! All power options come with electronic shift and throttle, MercuryĀ® Joystick Piloting w/Active Trim and a polished stainless tilt steering wheel.

With the arrival of the new outboard version, the 380 SSC now boasts either twin sterndrive or outboard power options according to the buyer's preference. When paired with this model's sea-carving 21Ā° deadrise Formula FAS3TechĀ® stepped hull, this is a vessel proven by its performance Super Sport lineage. The 380 SSC O/B version continues Formulaā€™s open-bow, full-cabin dayboat legacy without compromising full-width deck space and complete below decks accommodation.

Cockpit Layout

The cockpit features a full-width hardtop with a motorized glass sunroof and top-to-bottom windshield with a sliding, port side bow window. Triple helm seating makes for a roomy experience at the controls and Formula's SmartZoneā„¢ seating is incorporated throughout the rest of the vessel, with an expansive bow area for lounging. All of these features combine to create a pleasing open cockpit experience.

Inside the Cabin

Below decks is a spacious, fully-appointed cabin with woodgrain-finish flooring and 6'5" of headroom. There is a starboard side lower kitchen various countertop selections, Corian sink, overhead microwave, pullout Isotherm stainless steel refrigerator and a concealed trash container. A spacious head features a molded vanity with Corian countertops, upscale MoenĀ® faucet, porcelain Flush and ForgetĀ® VacuflushĀ® head unit and full shower.

Sleeping Berth

The aft cabin stateroom with privacy curtain features a permanent queen-size bed with memory foam mattress, so there is no need to convert the lounge for primary sleeping. The upholstered headboard with hideaway storage, pillow shams, two dual USB charging ports, available 32Ė LED/LCD HDTV with Blu-ray player and deep storage areas at the foot of the bed make this a perfect retreat.

Summary

With the newest model in the SSC lineup, the Formula Crossover fleet is six models strong and continues to push class expectations with one of the largest, most luxurious crossover bowrider cabin boats on the market.
