Boat show season is just around the corner. You'll find an extensive lineup of events scheduled to take place across the globe, each with its own unique set of unique attractions. We’re packing our bags and gearing up to see what’s hot and new in the boating industry. Here are the top shows of Fall of 2022 sure to bring out crowds of boaters ready to celebrate life on the water.

Cannes Yachting Festival





September 6th to 11th, 2022





Glitz, glamor, and mega-yachts galore. You can expect to find a flashy array of boats on display in the heart of the French Riviera. Sail and motor boats from 15 to 150 feet will grace the exhibition docks, with hundreds of boats to catch your eye. This year, The Old Port, one of the oldest ports in Côte d'Azur, will host more than 500 spectacular motor yachts. The Old Port is broken down into four sections: the electric boat area, motorized multihull area, sea trials area, and engine space reserved for land presentations. Port Canto will host over 120 new sailboats this year— including more than 20 global launches.





The Cannes Yachting Festival will also feature a luxury gallery, showcasing luxury lifestyle players whose products enrich the yachting lifestyle.





Atlantic City Powerboat Show





September 8th through 11th, 2022





The Atlantic City Powerboat Show promises a strong lineup of powerboats from across the country, complemented by a rich event itinerary. Exhibitors and guests will gather in the Atlantic City Convention Center to shop and attend events. Anglers won't want to miss this year's seminar lineup which features a swath of experts delivering 17 planned seminars throughout the weekend. Topics include species-specific seminars like fishing for tuna, flutter spoons for striped bass, kayak fishing, and much more. Kids will love the 360 fishing tank with casting lessons and a boating skills virtual trainer. This ultra-modern approach to boating safety allows users to take the helm and develop their boating skills with a real wheel and Mercury throttle.





Newport International Boat Show





September 15th through 18th, 2022





Spanning over thirteen acres of historic Newport, the Newport International Boat Show is one of the oldest and largest shows in the continental United States. Boaters headed here will enjoy an expanse of iconic power and sail vessels, including some boats debuting in the States. Many manufacturers also launch products at this early-season show, embracing the Newport for New Products program. Exhibitors can enter their products to be judged by industry experts for a variety of awards, including 'best new green boat and product'. Visitors can partake in the livery by participating in the People’s Choice Award for Best Overall Boat Debut, chosen by attendees on opening day. Another great feature of this show is their in-water training classes. New and experienced boaters have the opportunity to sign-up for a swath of classes on topics like docking and beginning sailing. There will also be classes specifically geared towards women.





Southampton International Boat Show





September 16th through 25th, 2022





Britain's largest boating festival kicks off on September 16th and will feature all the leisure marine industry has to offer. And really, everything! Visitors will find paddleboards and PWCs on display, alongside day boats and mega yachts. With so many different types of boats, this show is broken down into zones according to interests like watersports and dayboats. This year, Southampton features an On-the-Water zone where guests can test out a boat or paddleboard, try their luck at dinghy sailing, and relax aboard the show's own mini-cruise ship.





Monaco Yacht Show

September 28th through October 1st, 2022





Flanked by Monaco’s rolling seaside, the Monaco Yacht Show is a premier destination for sight-seeing and yacht-watching. This year, hundreds of yachts will converge on the area to showcase some of the most impressive and innovative craft around the world. Show goers will find 300+ foot superyachts, with designers on hand for custom builds. The AdventureArea consolidates all of the goodies that go along with yachting like sea toys, helicopters, and luxury vehicles. And the scenery — unmatched.





United States Powerboat Show





October 6th through 9th, 2022





Situated in historic downtown Annapolis, the United States Powerboat Show is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. This bustling show features hundreds of boats and vendors across the Annapolis city dock and floating docks extending into the harbor. Annapolis itself is transformed for the show, and walking the floating docks will take boaters through the charming red-brick town. Visitors will enjoy new boat debuts and brand new demo docks, too.





Annapolis US Sailboat Show





October 13th through 17th, 2022





Sailors rejoice for this classic, located in historic downtown Annapolis. Sailboats from around the world gather at the floating docks to create an impressive regatta. And visitors will find all sorts of sailboats here. Large, ocean-capable catamarans will be displayed alongside smaller craft, like purpose-built racing boats and dinghies. At least three new sailboats will be premiering at the Annapolis US Sail Show this year— the Balance 442 Umoya, Dufour 37, and Hallberg-Rassy 400. One of our favorite features of the Annapolis US Sailboat show is their educational component, Cruisers University. They have courses for sailors of all levels, like Beyond the Bowline: Essential Knots & Knot Theory and Designing & Installing a Marine Solar System. Courses on navigation and safety will also appeal to power and sailboaters.





Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

October 26th though 30th, 2022





Home to the largest in-water boat show in the world, Fort Lauderdale is a bustling hub for all things nautical. This event is a theme park for boating enthusiasts. Over 1,000 boats are displayed across FLIBS nearly 90 acres of space, with boat and yacht debuts expected. Attendees can also expect a great deal of marine goods, service and tech manufacturers. This show is also favorite for yacht enthusiasts. At the SuperYacht Village you can hop aboard luxury craft for an up-close look. Notably, visitors can put goods to the test at the AquaZone. There, you can try out exciting products like the Hobie Cat, Zapata Fly Boards, and SeaBob.





(Bonus!) Chicago Boat Show





January 11th through 15th, 2023





The Chicago Boat Show brings together the powerboating and sailing communities under one roof to celebrate all we love about being on the water. This large show features a dizzying lineup of boats in a diverse range of sizes. Expect an exciting lineup of kid-friendly activities like sailing lessons, a remote-controlled sailboat race, and a trout pond.
