No tools are needed for assembly with everything being retained in its own keeper so nothing falls out when in transit. Assembly takes 7 minutes from bag to ready to sail once you have had a little practise. Everything stores in the main hull when travelling and when launched you sail away from the beach leaving nothing behind. Fits through a standard domestic door way when in the bag and takes up no more room than a Kayak to store. The E-3.7 is a composite post cured epoxy resin Eglass and carbon build with Scott Bader Crystic 253pa epoxy compatible gelcoat finish. The composite laminate is designed/engineered buy Gurit Europe to make it lighter and stronger plus easier to produce. The free standing mast and boom are designed/engineered by Kilwell fibre lab New Zealand in post cured carbon to make it stronger/stiffer and lighter. Rudder cassette and tiller are carbon, rudder is lighter and stronger design/engineered by Gurit Europe. The fully battened main sail has been designed specifically for the E-3.7 to work with the stiffer rig, by Mike Tasker SEA Sails. Trampolines are designed to make assembly quicker and also lighter. Fitout is all ronstan for the lightest strongest smallboat equipment. This is best described as the last evolution of the Bazooka Trimaran design to call it a Bazooka would however be incorrect. Every area of the boat/build is redesigned/engineered to make it lighter/stronger, the hull run aft & keels were cleaned up for better performance. All this included but was not limited to the removal of aluminium fittings and backing plates that are now composite allowing removal of multiple stainless bolts and generally making it easier/ faster to build.
