The "Galley Up" design is perfect for entertaining, making the galley and salon one open area on the main deck. The galley is finished with plenty of cabinet space and a pantry, lots of countertop space to prep and entertain, double sinks and a stove/oven with shelf. Work your way to the aft and the dinette is comfortable and will easily fit a dining table or a twin bed. The master stateroom has a sliding privacy partisan for privacy and a sliding glass door to access the aft deck. Ample space for a king or queen bed and built in dresser that matches the cabinets in the galley, which really sets the tone. The main head is just forward of the master stateroom and features a separate shower/tub combo with electric flush. For additional guests, the boat has a lower sleeping birth in the bow, for two twin bunks with easy to access and a 1/2 bath located in the bow as well -- making it comfortable for your guest! Very nice 2004 Gibson 44 Classic.

his Gibson 36' fiberglass house boat has a completely rebuilt interior. We have been living aboard for almost 5 years and have decided to move ashore. Come check out this sweet little spot very convenient to the interstate and downtown New Orleans. She just made it through Ida with barely a scratch. Enjoy the sunrise waking up on the water. The sunsets aren't bad either : ) 36' long on deck with a 12' beam. She has a steering station inside and a disconnected steering station above. Volvo Penta I/O has many new parts and runs well. Very functional galley has a large sink, under counter reverse osmosis water filter, full sized refrigerator, 2 burner propane stove and oven, hardwood countertop, upper and lower cabinets and pantry. The upper level has a settee for seating and storage, helm area, hanging closet, hardwood blinds and large shelving for plants, books etc. The head has cabinet and medicine cabinet storage, a marine toilet connected to a 30 gallon holding tank and a tiled tub/shower combo. Aft area has a horseshoe settee around a black walnut table and some open space where I had considered putting a desk. New cushions and curtains throughout. Not a lot done to the exterior, but new nonskid was sprayed on the decks during the main refit about 5 years ago. Also at that time new stringers were put in using a synthetic honeycomb core vs the plywood that had rotted away. All rot around the windows and at the cabin to deck seam was removed and new plywood installed. The engine has new exhaust risers and hose, a new power steering pump, new water pumps, a new starter, new plugs and cables, a new water intake system as the one built into the outdrive corroded too badly to be repaired, new hydraulics for the outdrive tilt and trim, recent bottom paint on the outdrive and new zincs. Bottom was last painted fall 2019. Boat is registered and titled in Louisiana.

1978 GIbson Carl Craft , single engine Ford V* Mercruiser, 228TR Horsepower adn 2005 Kohler 800 generator7.3, with 570 hours on generator. Its a turn key houseboat, everything works. I have all the papers from the original owner, I have owned boat for 12 years. Dual 53 gallon gas tanks, new mercruiser transmission and wall boot in april 2017.
